Sky Quest

Overview

Sky Quest is a Minecraft data pack designed to transform the traditional Skyblock experience into a structured, goal-driven journey. Instead of leaving players to wander aimlessly, the pack introduces an interconnected advancement tree and progression system that guides them through every stage of survival — from the first cobblestone generator to a fully developed sky city.

Concept

Inspired by a comprehensive spreadsheet created during my mission, Sky Quest converts that theoretical advancement plan into an interactive in-game system. Each advancement or quest builds upon previous accomplishments, creating a natural flow of progression that mirrors the logic of real-world growth — gathering, building, automating, and expanding.

The experience balances creative freedom with structured progression, helping players understand what’s possible within a Skyblock world while giving them meaningful milestones to achieve.

Goal

To make Skyblock more rewarding, educational, and motivating by integrating clear progression, purpose, and discovery into the gameplay loop — turning survival into a long-term quest for mastery and creativity.
